A stately and substantial English Regency-style umbrella stand crafted from brass, featuring a cylindrical form with flared lip and stepped base. The exterior retains a rich, naturally aged patina with areas of oxidation and light verdigris, enhancing its authentic vintage appeal. Each side is adorned with a cast lion head mount clutching a brass ring in its mouth-a classic Regency motif symbolizing strength and formality. The interior is unlined and shows signs of oxidation consistent with age and intended use.Riveted vertical seams and rolled brass construction indicate early 20th century manufacturing techniques.
