An early 20th century Persian Bidjar runner with alternating floral striped pattern surrounded by multiple complementary floral borders.

:: Single column interconnected center medallions, each with their own germinating plant and detailed minor boteh atop an open abrashed field with field overlay in a minor blossom design motif. Main border in a meandering vine with outer border in a reciprocating serpent / wave stylized design. Colors and shades include: Madder root red, sapphire blue, indigo blue, jade green, oxidized silver, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Multiple areas of expert restoration, one occupying approximately 1x1.5 foot area to the side of the carpet and others scattered throughout. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use!
