Antique Khamseh Tribal Rug

About the Item

Antique Khamseh tribal rug with the well known large scale boteh design on an ivory ground. The rug is covered with five rows of large boteh and in between them the field is covered in 100's of very small boteh. The border design is of a classic Khamseh design. The rug has the original checkerboard design at both ends. The rug has excellent natural dyes throughout. The rug is in good condition with a even wear and medium pile. The rug is suitable for normal domestic use. The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
