The carpets, scatters, runners, long rugs and bags of the towns, villages and tribes of Anatolia, including: Oushak, Ghiordes, Kula, Ladik, Hereke, Konya, Melas, Bergama, Sivas, Kayseri and Yuruk. Enormous range of weave densities, sizes, patterns and palettes. Prayer rugs especially popular.  When in doubt, “Turkish” is appropriate. Prices from low to extremely high. Unbroken tradition from the 14th century onward.
