Living with natural textures could never have be more enjoyable with this contemporary and eclectic bordeaux red shaggy rug. This sheepskin rug is handcrafted from the most beautiful and the finest long wool Icelandic sheepskin resulting in the most tactile and shaggy appearance with a wool pile range of 8-20cm ( 5 to 8 inches) in length, that shags effortlessly onto the floor. This Icelandic sheepskin rug is fashion dyed and offers a striking range of light to dark burgundy red tones that will change with the movement of the long wool and look inviting in any bedroom or living room setting.
Sheepskin qualities are underestimated, as they are cool in the summer as its hollow fibre absorbs heat and releases the heat over seven times faster than a synthetic fibre while in the colder months its warming properties keep us snuggle and warm.
Our Icelandic sheepskins are carefully sourced directly from Europe, using only natural by-product and eco-friendly processing, without the use of harsh and toxic chemicals that are damaging to the environment and humans, making them safer and healthier inside the home for everyone to enjoy.
