Styling and living with natural textures could never have been more lush with this contemporary golden tan shaggy rug. This sheepskin rug is handcrafted from high quality long wool Icelandic sheepskin resulting in the most tactile and shaggy appearance with a long wool pile range of 8-20cm ( 5 to 8 inches) in length, that shags and drapes effortlessly on the floor.
The enchanting Icelandic sheepskin rug is fashion dyed and offers a striking range of brown and caramel tones with lighter highlights that will change with light and the movement of the long wool coat.
Sheepskin qualities at times are underestimated, as they are cool in the summer as the hollow fibers absorb heat as well as releasing heat over seven times faster than a synthetic fiber, furthermore in the colder months natural wool has warming properties keeping you and your family snuggle and warm.
Eluxury home, Icelandic sheepskins are carefully sourced directly from Europe, using only natural by-product and eco-friendly processing, without the use of harsh and toxic chemicals that are damaging to the environment and humans, making them safer and healthier inside the home for everyone to enjoy.
Each sheepskin shaggy rug is handcrafted using three individual sheepskins individually selected to create this charming floor rug. Forming its own organic shape from each sheepskin chosen, every sheepskin rug will be unique and feature its own characteristics and differences as no two sheepskins are ever identical in shape, color tone, texture or wool pile. The floor rug comes unlined with the natural sheepskin and stitching exposed on the under side.
