A beautiful little antique Gendje rug, handwoven in The Caucasus mountains of modern day Azerbaijan circa 1890. It features an unusual prayer rug design on a multicoloured lozenge field with an ivory border. Fabulous colours and highly collectible.
Size: 1.90m x 0.98m (6ft 3in x 3ft 3in)
This rug is in good condition with moderate age-related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
