This antique Karabagh rug has an indigo-blue field with a polychrome floral and leafy-vine around an ice-blue central stepped lozenge with scrolling floral vine around a tomato-red bold panel with angular floral vine and a central rosette, above and below similar stepped shaded blackcurrant-red lozenges with polychrome floral vine around an ice-blue bold panel containing angular floral and leafy vine enclosing a central rosette, the shaded pink spandrels with bold polychrome palmette and flowerhead vine, in a broad shaded blue border of meandering palmette and floral vine between blackcurrant-red and golden-yellow meandering floral vine stripes, outer reciprocal part lozenge stripe.
