About the Item

20303 Linde Burkhardt “Danzatrici” cm. 330 x 300 € 15.000 Handmade rug in Nepal based on a design by Linde Burkhardt. This rug is part of the collection "Dalle Gioie degli Etruschi" made exclusively for the Boralevi Gallery in Florence. This carpet, like the others in the series, wants to be a sort of homage to a culture that is at the base of the style of decorations throughout the West. The fauna of the Etruscan era is present in almost all the artistic testimonies we received. In addition to the animals that were part of their daily life, the Etruscans had a particular preference for the not really realistic representations of those animals, which had no way of meeting in the woods of the house, but which testify to the influence of neighbouring peoples.
