Antique Bokhara Rug 9' 2" x 7' 2"

About the Item

This large antique Bokhara rug was handwoven in the Early 20th Century. It is remarkable for its beautifully aged surface, giving it an appearance of a weathered painting. The design features the traditional guls arranged in three columns on a deep red field, surrounded by borders of diamonds and other geometric motifs. Dimensions: 9' 2" x 7' 2" (110 in. x 86 in.) Condition notes: In fair condition with wear that's consistent with the rug's age and use, including areas of thinning and discoloration, and fraying to edges. All of this adds to the rug's character and value. Newly cleaned.
