Hand-Woven Diamond Kilim Wool Rug in Touch of Purple Pattern
Located in Brooklyn, NY
Kilim rugs range from typical, utilitarian functions to symbolic purposes, to art hanging in a home or gallery setting. If the choices are abundant, try unfurling this work of art in the heart of your home, far from the dirt and chaos of the outside world. Carpet weaving has an essential place in the culture, economy, and art of the “Rug Belt”, a region of countries that stretches from Morocco, through the Middle East, and ends in northern India. Persian carpets, first exported to ancient Greece and revered by great writers...
