About the Item
Penelope embodies a sophisticated floral and traditional pattern, both contemporary and timelessly classic. This hand knotted, silk and wool carpet, designed by Joseph Carini, shown in 3’ (W) x 12’ (L). Our couture Penelope design is colored in a sophisticated rich burgundy silk and contrasted against a teal wool background. Inspired by his love of 17th century Italian floral textiles, Carini has reworked this pattern with a modern twist.
Handwoven in our exclusive workshop in Nepal, this high knot count (150 knot) rug exudes luxury and elegance. Available in additional and custom colorways and sizes. Also available in wool. This fine handmade carpet is silky soft to the touch and has a beautiful sheen. Adorn a hallway, staircase, or foyer with a soft luxurious touch and fabulous colors that bring a pop of color and pattern into any room.
