This striking area rug is a vintage handwoven wool area rug. The design features a green background colour with accents of red, pink, brown and beige that make up the intricate, Antique Rug with a decorative all over symmetrical design. A repeating pattern blue border has then enclosed this that elegantly frames the design. The colour palette and unique floral patterns make this carpet an excellent accent rug, suitable for classic and modern spaces. This fine wool area rug was constructed by master weavers in the 1900s, using only the finest hand-spun wool and cotton that have been dyed with organic dyeing techniques that have been used for decades. The high-quality materials and intricate methods used make this carpet highly durable and sure to last if cared for correctly.
