One of a Kind Hand Knotted Traditional Tribal Oushak Gray Area Rug

About the Item

Originating centuries ago in what is now Turkey, Oushak rugs have long been sought after for their intricate patterns, lush yet subtle colors, and soft luster. These rugs continue that tradition. Hand-knotted of wool by skilled artisans, they will last for years—especially fortunate given that they will never fall out of fashion. One-of-a-kind rugs take at minimum 4 months to complete by hand. Our Artisans continue to use techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation of craftsmen, weavers, and dyers. Made using plant-based dyes that create rich, saturated colors, their organic origins mean they are ecologically conscious and free from harsh chemicals and synthetic compounds Due to the unique nature of each piece, imperfections in these rugs are part of their beauty that should be celebrated in your home Material: 100% Wool Size: 8' 10" X 6' 1" Made In Pakistan

Traditional Hand-Knotted Afghan Rug
Located in Dallas, TX
Afghan rugs, often known as Afghan carpets, are hand-woven rugs that are historically created in Afghanistan, though many are also weaved by Afghan refugees in Pakistan. Various ethnic groups, primarily Turkmen, assemble Afghan rugs in northern and western Afghanistan.
