Pair Geometric Kilim Rugs Handwoven Kurdish Yellow Red Wool Silk Rug

About the Item

These fine wool and silk rugs are handmade flatwoven Kilim rugs, construected in the early 2000s, circa 2010. The central design has been woven on a vibrant yellow background and features a trio of medallions made up of intricate patterns in colours ivory, green, and brown. This is then enclosed by a highly-detailed green geometric design which is framed by a layered border. he colour palette and design make these rugs great accent pieces for use in any home. Suitable for styling with both classic and contemporary interiors. Easily pair with your modern, vintage or antique furniture. These rugs are currently joint at the fringe, making one long runner, however, they can be separated to make two separate area rugs. These beautiful wool kilims were made with organic hand-spun wool and silk that have been dyed with organic dyeing techniques that have been used for generations. The materials and flatweave techniques used make this area rug highly durable and sure to last decades if cared for correctly. BG453 Measures 126x161cm.
