Turkmen Tekke Handwoven Rug Mid-Late 20th Century (Oriental Turkomen)
About the Item
A Turkmen Tekke handwoven rug, approximately 6'11" x 4'6", dating from the mid-late 20th century. The blood red field with three columns of guls enclosed by stellar motif borders and multiple guard stripes. A fairly supple, soft, hand woven rug, with selvages and fringes to both ends. Wool pile and foundations.
An attractive, quality rug. Ready to use.
Dimensions:
This rug measures approximately 211 cm long including fringes, and 129.5 cm wide.
