Uzbek Folk Art Suzani, 1970s

A nice typical good quality example to vintage suzanis. 1970s.

It is unusual with its bold design and smaller size. This group of Samarkand suzanis tend to be either very large or very small, this is in between.

The embroidery does not have a lining. ( A lining could be put upon request.) It has very fine embroidery for its age group and the design is calm and unusual.
