About the Item

:: Triple column repeating gul medallions in alternating corner quarter fills. Main columns buffered by minor guls in diamond shaped contour atop a heavily abrashed ground. Either side of the main field has germinating plants of single column vine and buds stemming therefrom. Colors and shades include: Dusty burgundy wine red, dark dusty teal, pale sapphire sky blue, a hint of green, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Multiple areas of restorations. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Afghani Ersari carpet made in Afghanistan circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 8'4" x 10'10".
