About the Item
A beautiful pair of vintage Lahore Kashmir bedside rugs in blue green turquoise beige, hand knotted wool and silk.
Construction
This pair of bedside rugs has a pile made of fine spun Wool with some small silk highlights. The rugs are very fine and dense. Lahore rugs use the traditional Persian knot to make the pile.
Production
This pair of rugs was made in the 1960s-1970s. Both have short fringes, some fading in color and Abrash / Color change from different batches of wool used. This gives them a great Patina and elegant vintage look.
Vintage rug pairs are rather hard to find.
