Blue Indigo Stripes Natural Dye Handmade Wool Runner Throw Rug by Joseph Carini

About the Item

This incredible display of natural indigo dyes on handspun Himalayan hand-knotted wool is a masterpiece by Joseph Carini. Incredibly soft silky Himalayan wool, that has to be felt to be believed- unlike any commercial wool. To be used as an accessory or throw rug at the foot of a bed, in a small hallway, to cozy up any corner of your home or as a wall hanging. The variety of the blue is achieved all through natural indigo dye. Completely one of a kind due to its nature, no two of these rugs will ever be the same. Handwoven in our exclusive workshop in Nepal, this rug exudes craftsmanship and luxury. Hand knotted with the finest hand processed Himalayan wool, this fine handmade carpet is soft to the touch and has a wonderful sheen from the wool's natural lanolin. This design is available in additional and custom colorways and sizes. Also available in silk, wool, mohair, wild nettle, or a combination of materials. Reach out for customization. Carini’s design philosophy is heavily influenced by historical contexts and nature, merging his graphic and organic design interests with his considerable knowledge of decorative arts, architecture, and industrial design history. His expertise in exotic natural dyes and hand-processed materials has become a cornerstone of his work.
