Beautiful large vintage Chinese rug from the mid-20th century, entirely hand-knotted in wool on a cotton foundation. Art Deco-inspired design featuring a red background with a medallion adorned with stylized flowers and branches in white and light blue. The corners also feature stylized flowers and branches, while the field showcases vase and butterfly motifs. The red border is decorated with stylized Chinese objects and flowers. Note: The lower border has been reduced due to use.
