About the Item
This is a semi-antique Chinese velvet textile woven during the first half of the 20th century circa
1940s. This textile has all over field design is made up of traditional Chinese motifs that consist
of blossoming tree branches, different types of pottery, butterflies, and an abstract yin and yang
made with a dragon facing a dog. The border is made of a cloud design with a polychrome
pattern. This is an extremely unique piece that has been preserved in overall great condition and
measures 367x355 CM in size.
