Tappeto lavorato a mano a piccolo punto "needlepoint" con disegno continuativo anni ’80. Misura molto grande 6,70 m. x 4.30 m. , con varie tonalità d’azzurro, beige ed un tocco di marrone intenso. Il disegno continuativo permette d’inserirlo facilmente in qualsiasi contesto. Lavorato a mano in Cina negli anni ‘80 Il "Needlepoint" è un tipo di lavoro su tela, una forma di ricamo in cui il filo viene cucito con l’ago attraverso una tela rigida. I disegni di needlepoint coprono completamente la tela. Viene realizzato con solo un semplice punto a tenda (inclinato) e i disegni si basano sui cambi di colore nel filo. Il needlepoint è la forma più antica di lavoro su tela. Il grado di dettaglio nel needlepoint dipende dalla conteggio dei fili della tela sottostante. A causa della intrinseca mancanza di flessibilità del needlepoint, usi comuni includono custodie per occhiali, ornamenti natalizi, cuscini, borse, tappezzeria e arazzi. Piccoli difetti come si vede nelle ultime foto.
