Hand-woven Wool Antique Red Pomegranate Floral Khotan Runner

This antique, circa 1890, Khotan runner has a soft-grey field with a coral-red vase at each end issuing a pomegranate and angular leafy and floral vine, in a coral-red border of buff-brown and dusty-pink linked flowerheads alternating with paired serrated leaves, outer ivory stripe with sky-blue and coral-red linked lozenge stripe between plain sky-blue and ivory narrow stripes.
