About the Item

Single center medallion with end finials in a germinating plant motif atop a completely open abrashed ground. Colors and shades include: Mauve, pale lavender, dusty gold, pale bronze, ivory, and more. Condition notes: Areas of high and low pile height. Fully secured sides, mostly secure ends. Some older professional mends to the ends of the carpet. Some minor isolated oxidation and fading to the tips of the wool. Both side stripe borders professionally reduced. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Indian Agra carpet made in India circa 1890's vintage. Size measures 8'3" x 15'2". Cited measurements in description are accurate within a few inches of actual size for room size and smaller. Large and oversize carpet measurements may carry greater disparities depending on finishing process, and inherent variation found in hand knotted carpets. All cited measurements exclude fringe.
