This artisan family is a 5th generation family of master craftsmen who have handed down a unique technique of weaving rugs on an ancient loom which dates back hundreds of years. We personally collaborate with the family and intend to support their indigenous craft as there are very few families left now who can weave on this particular ancient loom. Ethically made, Geru rug is a classic neutral piece that will compliment in any interior space with its earthy pallet and stripes pattern.
