This 9x12 rug is an exciting new addition to the Mid-Century Modern rug collection by Rug & Kilim. Hand-knotted in wool, cotton and silk, this piece is a designer rug in collaboration with artist Jenn Ski. Further on the Design: The collection is a bold take on iconic 1950s postmodern and atomic age art styles in an immersive quality. This particular art rug explores vibrant polychromatic colors and funky, retro geometric patterns with an expressive, joyful attitude. Keen eyes will further admire the sharp drawing, refined curves, and sheer detail that achieves this graphic look. Its thick, durable body and refined texture, too, speak to the highest craft to honor this iconic aesthetic. Custom Capable: Please note all custom orders are subject to a 3-day return policy upon receipt of the CAD, at which point a full refund may be honored. Yarn samples can be made available during the process on loom as well, subject to the 3-day window without prior approval of extension. All custom sales following the approved CAD are final without these exceptions. About Jenn Ski: A graduate of the University of Massachusetts representing the team at Lilla Rogers Studio, modern artist Jenn Ski has been designing and producing an impressive collection of mid-century modern style designs that drew Josh to our exciting partnership. Sharing our passion for the particular post-modern style, Jenn Ski’s collaboration with Rug & Kilim represents the first representation of her work in our medium, with some of her current works favoring the mobile and cocktail style patterns emerging in the 1950s—connoting a remarkable student of the era who proudly references her home being built by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright.
