Hand knotted in an exceptionally soft Ghazni wool with a unique blend of yarns, this 5 x 8 custom rug hails from the latest additions to Rug & Kilim’s Burano collection, reputed for its pioneering method of capturing Classic patterns with especially European sensible interpretations of Oriental inspirations. Inspired by antique Caucasian and Russian rarities, the variations of geometry within the burdock plant and quarter diamond geometric floral patterns complement this rich, warm pallet of beige brown and gold-yellow with tactful off-white accents; skillfully achieving the negotiation between Classic appeal and modern quality embodying this collection.
