This piece features large-scale paisleys in the many floral patterns within—a revered motif in many celebrated provenances, and especially in antique Caucasian Kuba rug designs like those that inspired this piece. A field of beige-brown and border of cream-white tones underscores all over floral patterns in blue, red, and yellow tones, among many colors at play, beautifully capturing the colorful nature of such pieces.
