On the Design:
Each piece in this collection is a unique reimagining of traditional designs and antique rugs in one of the most luxurious new qualities and high knot counts available today. This particular rug—entitled “Love Bird”—enjoys a polychromatic luscious field dominated by tones of gold and black with orange and gray accents with a gorgeous circular medallion in the center. The medallion is also flanked by two stylized parrots in similar shades—the inspiration behind the title of the rug. The natural sheen of silk plays beautifully with the dazzling movement in the rug’s design.
