Handwoven in wool and silk, Rug & Kilim presents a 9x12 Swedish flat weave from their award-winning Scandinavian Collection - affectionately dubbed our “Watson” texture in homage to its collaborative inspiration.
On the design:
Made with our “Watson” yarn, this rug is an elegant take on Swedish minimalist and Deco styles. The piece features pearl white and beige-brown tones underscoring geometric patterns. Keen eyes will note the luxurious natural sheen of the silk in this construction.
The unique weaving process and equally distinct result furthers, if not exemplifies, the original spirit with which Josh founded this collection—as both a means of honoring the Scandinavian movement and contributing to it as a modern maker.
