Hand-knotted in a special blend of Ghazni wool, this 3x5 custom rug design represents the custom-classics Burano Collection by Rug & Kilim—its design inspired by very rare Caucasian rug of the titular Seychour (sometimes spelled Zeikhour) provenance.

These photos represent a recently sold 3x5 rug in the Zeychour sensibility (which connoisseurs may note is sometimes considered by some in our field to be a subclass of the Kuba rug lineage). A blue field underscores a rich red fox pictorial and floral designs in bright, playful polychromatic colors—a depiction of old-world culture and rustic charm exemplary of this collection’s look at the most important histories of folk art.
