About the Item

:: Allover covered field in an intricate highly detailed and well balanced positive and neutral spacing floral cross-section intertwined vinery design motif. The main border features treffoil shaped rose floral arrangements interconnected by scrolling vinery. As opposed to many newer carpets, this mapping has gone so far as to emulate the speckled character of the original examples from yesteryear, whereas certain design elements within the field carry a knot-to-knot change in color to add to the dynamic character and realism of the subject motif. Colors and shades include: Navy blue, ivory, cochineal red, wine red, slate blue, dusty rose, blush, beige, and more. Condition notes: Like-new, original full pile height even across. Original side cord selvages intact. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Indian Bijar design carpet made in India circa 1990's vintage. Size measures 11'7" x 17'8". :: Cited measurements in description are accurate within a few inches of actual size for room size and smaller. Large and oversize carpet measurements may carry greater disparities depending on finishing process, and inherent variation found in hand knotted carpets. Contact us for most accurate dimensions charting all when critical for your space. All cited measurements exclude fringe. :: This item ships freight and as such will likely include a pallet that may weigh as much as 50 pounds.
