1900s Antique Tribal Persian Farahan Sarouk Rug, Ivory Field, Coral Medallion

About the Item

This well-woven south Persian tribal scatter features an ivory field with closely set offset rows of vases flanked by highly stylized birds. Thin, straight lines integrate the composition. Among the multiple patterned borders is a narrow main stripe with hooked small lozenges. Rust borders and a gorgeous coral field. Attractive fringes. The condition is very good.
