19th Century Persian Kurdish Camel Hair Runner

About the Item

The antique Persian Kurdish Camel Hair runner has a very unique and beautiful simple design. The design consists of three small axial medallions connected with a line and geometric form in between. Although the Kurdish runner is somewhat "gracefully aged", it is still very beautiful and brings a sense of modern design in a rug about 150 years old. The Kurdish Camel Hair design is reminiscent of the American Amish and Shaker design philosophy of “beauty in simplicity”.
