19th Century Persian Ziegler Mahal Sultanabad in All-Over Pattern in Navy, Ivory

One of the most magnificent Persian Mahal Sultanabad rugs in our collection from the early 1900s. The rug is in a large-scale all-over design pattern with geometric forms connected via scrolling lines. The rug has a rust-red field color with designs in brilliant colors including navy blue, turquoise blue, green, red, pink, and yellow. The border is in navy blue color with geometric designs connected via scrolling lines and branches throughout. The rug is in excellent condition with a full pile. A wonderful vintage Persian Mahal Sultanabad rug with a unique all over geometric pattern set in a pink to pale pink field color with small medallions and paisley forms throughout. The small medallions have abrash colors of navy blue to pale blue in addition to shades of green including turquoise green and olive green. Other colors in the field include brown, cream, and pale yellow. The border is a pale yellow to cream color with the same geometric forms throughout. The rug has a short pile and is in good condition.
