This antique Persian Kermanshah carpet created circa 1870 showcases a floral design with unique coloration and an elaborate central medallion. Created to honor Shah Naymatollah Ali, exceptional attention to detail has been given to every facet of this carpet's construction. The muted green, pink, navy and camel tones lend an overall balance to the intricate design. Minor restoration has been expertly completed. This antique measures 9'7" x 14'4". It consists of an extremely Fine Persian weave, hand knotted in pure wool, with a cotton warp and wool weft foundation.
