:: Repeating ram's horn stylized medallions arranged in partial lattice orientation and randomly alternating color fills. Fantastic dynamic of deep cobalt blue shades and abrashes with unusual border design motif of unidirectional germinating plants, each in a pictorial panel reminiscent of agriculture on hillsides. Colors and shades include: Cobalt blue, madder root red, ivory, chocolate brown, navy blue, pale dusty cochineal, burgundy wine red, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Tatter to sides and ends. Some light etching to the knot heads and one or two areas of localized discoloration, as seen in photos. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Belouch rug made in Persia circa 1910's vintage. Size measures 3'1" x 4'8".

Covered field in paneled floral guls in staggered orientation reciprocating in a lattice motif with abrashes across. Colors and shades include: Madder root red, brick red, chestnut, coffee brown, cobalt blue, chocolate brown, sapphire blue and more. Condition notes: Areas of high and low pile height. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Most of the original goat hair side cord selvages intact. Minor areas of recess to the knot heads from oxidation of the darker tones in the brown and charcoal families, due to mordants use at the time. Much of the original plain weave is fully intact, in addition to the minor braiding of fringes. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! :: Highly ornamented, well balanced, and harmonious weave! Diminutive center medallion in diamond/hexagonal shape with end finials in a rams horn / samovar stylized contour. Allover covered field in a classic Herati motif, although some outline colors likely synthetic dyes (namely the brighter red top colors), the ground color red and blues are particularly vivid and true.
