Antique Persian rug handwoven from the finest sheep’s wool and colored with all-natural vegetable dyes that are safe for humans and pets. It’s a traditional Farahan weaving featuring a lovely ensemble of tribal details in ivory medallions over a brown field. It’s a stunning piece to get for modern and rustic spaces. It has a dimension of 5’3” x 9’9” which is ideal for bedrooms and living areas.
Farahan is a village in west-central Iran known for producing one of the finest rug designs from the 19th century. In fact, the rugs made by Farahan master weavers were purposely designed to cater to aristocrats and affluent buyers from the West. These rugs were displayed in the world-renowned Vienna Exhibition in 1873 that catapulted Farahan into the international market.
