Antique Sarab Runner, circa 1910

About the Item

Six stepped hexagons in green, red and medium blue form a pole medallion on a small lozenge lattice ground. A wide medium blue border with bold palmettes and split acanthus double meanders makes an unusual and striking frame. The construction is solid on this Heriz area village runner.
