About the Item

This well-woven, cotton foundation Central Persian city carpet presents a deep navy indigo field with a dense cover of rosettes, palmettes, flowering stems, angular branches and sharply curved barbed bitonal leaves. Saturated red border with flowering vases and octagonal semi-rosettes. Short, velvety pile. Laterally balanced pattern, but asymmetric vertically. Good condition. Measures: 12'2'' x 17'11''.
