:: Double center medallion with elongated checkered finned germinating plants with starburst design elements atop a covered field of blossoms and thick banded vinery with expressive contour. Serpents and animals flanking the field and outer borders with botehs and crab style design elements throughout the outer stripe border. Colors and shades include: Camel, indigo blue, madder root red, sapphire blue, chocolate brown, sand, beige, antique ivory, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Serab rug runner made in Persia circa 1895-1910 vintage. Size measures 3'5" x 9'7".
