:: Heavy handle and unusual open field with striated abrashes in speckled tone-on-tone coloration wrapped by a deep gem shaded sapphire blue border with colorful palmettes and floral top views. Colors and shades include: Dusty cochineal red, ruby red grapefruit, faded cherry red, sapphire blue, ivory, beige, sand, navy blue, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile and knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Some localized areas of expert restoration. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Sultanabad carpet made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 10'1" x 13'5".
