About the Item

Wonderful Persian rug of tribal manufacture attributable to the Bakhtiari people, active in the mountainous area of southwestern Iran. The carpet features a central field with a geometric medallion on a dark blue background, framed by floral motifs and stylized leaves arranged symmetrically. The border is characterized by a continuous sequence of rosette flowers, with a refined color alternation. Made entirely of wool on warp and weft also made of wool, with symmetrical knots. The natural colors are still intense and well preserved. In great condition overall.
