About the Item

Featuring a class Persian Bidjar design, this hand-knotted carpet measures 4'6" x 6'9" and features a traditional Bidjar garden design. Common among most Bidjar carpets, this piece features a rectangular interior field, detailed with the iconic Herati medallions, composed of a single central flower with four caterpillars creating a lozenge encompassing the center. Perfect for an entryway, living room, bedroom, or wherever a medium-sized area carpet is needed, the repetitive, all-over pattern provides the ideal foundation and will mask heavily trafficked areas. Hand-knotted in pure wool, this carpet is in new condition and is ready for decades of everyday use.
