Infinitely Long Gorgeous Antique Tribal Textile Runner Ancient Southwest Persian, Rustic & Rare
About: Absolutely Gorgeous ancient-old tribal runner with very Southwest Persian vibes but also has lots of Kurdish and Northwest Mountain Energy. These age-old dyes are mature and have softened beautifully with a sensational color-palette that is easy on the eyes to view down its entire Million feet of rug! Any runner with this length is a statement piece, but when it's this old and this beautiful - absolutely a Jaw-Dropping Wonder!! Where will it end up next?!

Age: Antique, C. 1920's
Pile: Low, Worn, and Distressed with lots of Patina and ancient old repairs, re-weaves and touch-ups. This piece has been through a lifetime and back, it is amazing that it's still here for us to enjoy. At some point it was re-sized and weavers and repair people along the way have been asked to restore and repair this piece because you can tell the work done wasn't all at once - it is so incredible to me to think about all the people that have had the honor to work on this and just where in the world was it used and enjoyed over the past Century?!
This rug is one-of-a-kind, only one in the world, no others are available.
Because of the nature and age of these older/antique handmade pieces - irregularities, ancient old repairs/touch-ups, and age-related wear are likely to exist and are not considered defects.
Always recommend a high-quality custom cut pad for any and all rugs; these pads are made for hand-knotted rugs. They create a body and support the knots of the rug, as well as prevent it from slipping and sliding.
This rug is also available with a custom cut pad (sold separately).
