Beautiful Heriz rug from India - Djoharian Collection
Heriz rugs and carpets are mainly made of fine, hand-spun wool,
This rug was made with a decorative traditional design. The style reminds of Karaja, Gerawan, Shirvan and Serapi rugs.
Origin: India
Pile material: Fine hand-spun wool, excellent pile condition with low cut and vintage look.
Weft material: Cotton
Warp material: Cotton
Structure: rustic for vintage look - fine sheep's wool.
Colors:
The background color is Pantone tone dark teal, this means in daylight it shows a blue and green mixed color, in artificial light it looks almost navy blue. The border is a color that is closest to Pantone tone canyon clay, in artificial light a more brown or rust tone. The additional colors are light green and light blue.

Use: Living room, dining room, bedroom, office, entry
This is a new rug and it can be made in custom sizes.
Size: 10 x 8 ft or 305 x 244 cm (plus fringe on both sides).
The design can be categorized in Persian rug, Caucasian rug, Azerbaijan rug, Azeri rug, and Turkish rugs. The age is new and unused.
Shape: Rectangular (hand knotted rugs are never exactly straight an even in shape).
This type of rug goes well in a setting such as South-Western, Rustic or Traditional interiors, but will also set a great contrast to Contemporary oder Modern styled homes. The size will fit well to a wide hallway or in front of a bed, but also decorates any living room or dining room.
