Massive Antique Persian Kerman Rug
About the Item
This stunning and very large Persian antique hand knotted rug is a masterpiece of traditional craftsmanship, featuring a rich, deep red field that serves as a captivating backdrop for its intricate design. At the heart of the rug lies an elaborate central medallion, adorned with delicate floral motifs in shades of gold, blue, pink and beige, radiating elegance and symmetry. The field is adorned with an array of gracefully curving vines and floral patterns, creating a harmonious and timeless aesthetic. The rug is framed by a striking border, showcasing a darker navy or black background with ornate floral and geometric designs in complementary colors, adding depth and sophistication. In overall good vintage condition with minor wear present and photographed. Some very minor light spots but overall in good condition. This rug is very big and hard to photograph all of it. Dimensions are accurate.
