Renowned for their bold geometric patterns and rich color palettes, Mazlaghan rugs are woven by skilled artisans from the Luri and Kurdish tribes, who have passed down their weaving techniques for generations. This exceptional piece features three large diamond medallions, each intricately adorned with stylized floral motifs, set within a field filled with even more stylized blossoms. The composition creates a harmonious and rhythmic pattern that is both dynamic and balanced. Surrounding the central field is a wide border, showcasing a stylized floral and scrolling vine pattern, flanked by matching stripes featuring petite flowers. The entire rug is woven with crimson, indigo, violet, green, and orange wool, dyed using natural vegetable pigments.
