New Oushak Persian Rug with Rust and Ivory Floral Details

About the Item

Handwoven Persian rug made from high-quality sheep’s wool and colored with the finest vegetable dyes. It features a lovely pattern of flowers and vines that are commonly associated with the style mastered by Oushak weavers. It uses a wonderful blend of ivory and rust over a beige field that enhances the rug’s beauty even more. It’s a great addition to contemporary and modern spaces. It has a dimension of 3’ x 4’9” which is perfect for hallways and entryways. The origin of Oushak rugs can be traced to a small town in West-Central Anatolia called Oushak, which is located south of Istanbul, Turkey. Like most handmade carpets and rugs, they took on the name of the village, town, or city they were made in to show the ethnicity of its makers and because the patterns they used were often inspired by their environment. Oushak rug designs often have floral motifs and intricate medallions on the field which are mesmerizing and stunning to look at. They commonly appear in terracotta and nature colors such as brown, beige, rust, blue, green and orange that make them stand out in any type of flooring or even as wall decor. IMPORTANT: ACTUAL RUG COLORS MAY VARY FROM PICTURES & DESCRIPTION. YOU MAY REQUEST ADDITIONAL PHOTOS/VIDEOS OR CONTACT US FOR CONFIRMATION BEFORE PURCHASE.
